Located in Houston, Texas, TollFreeServices is a division of the Telco House and uses new telecommunications technology to enhance long-distance calling services. Utilizing a combination of state-of-the-art switching equipment and network agreements with top-tier carriers from around the globe, the client is able to provide quality international calling services for customers while maintaining very low prices.

The Challenge
Since TollFreeServices sells and manages toll-free numbers online, Olive had to conceptualise, design and develop the most suitable interfaces and applications that would help the company optimise its business growth in terms of useful information, smooth functionality and superior customer services.

Olive faced the dual task of ensuring hassle-free management of toll-free numbers for the Website administrator, as well as developing best-of-the-brand customer services tools. Both Admin and customer interfaces were required to offer enhanced security and functionality for safe transactions and value-added services.

To ensure smooth Admin functions, the client had requirements for weeding out fake customers, deactivating accounts and deleting subscribers from the database. Based on customer and billing details, effective management of toll-free numbers was to be carried out.

The client also wanted us to develop user-friendly customer interfaces in order to feature value-added services on the Website.

Olive Solutions
Privacy and Security: As the firm carries out online transactions, our focus was on total, tamperproof security. The “Secure Login Layer” ensures that only authorized people may carry out necessary transactions. For further security of the system, a session is also provided which will expire after 20 minutes of inactivity. Olive has provided the latest encryption technology and customer data is stored on a secure server to protect it from outside parties. Transactions are carried out in secure operating environments that are not available to third parties.

Customer Management: Admin can view information regarding valid and fake customers. Once a customer’s transaction is successfully completed, he/she is regarded as a valid customer and his/her account is activated. The admin can activate/deactivate any user account and delete selected subscriber/s from the database.

Billing Management: Allows Admin to view all transaction details and update the switch in case of incomplete transactions. Admin can also update Call Detail Reports (CDR’s) of the customers available in the Switch. The CDR displays call activity for the past 30 days – detailing date, time, rate, duration, cost and origination & destination numbers for each call. A customer, too, can view his/her CDR/billing history.

Toll-free Number Management: Admin can upload new toll-free numbers and release existing numbers to add them to the available TF number pool. Also, when a customer record is deleted, the toll-free number/s occupied by that particular user would be released and put back into the pool.

Customer Service: The firm’s telecommu-nications systems are integrated with the Website so that each customer can manage his/her account online. An Account Center is created for existing customers to access up-to-the-minute information, so that one can edit the call plan, check balance, add more funds and so on. Once a customer logs in to his/her account, he/she can file complaint/s online. Customers are also provided with 24x7 online chat support.
