Financial Markets Group (FMG), UK, is one of the leading research centres in Europe and conducts academic research into the financial market for various companies. It organises a wide range of activities for the members of the group including seminars, workshops, conferences and lectures. It also releases a variety of publications and conducts a number of research programmes.

The Challenge
FMG required an e-management system that would allow a complete update of the group’s events and activities. This would include a systematic display of the events and the publications; a news section with latest updates; research programmes details and links to all group members through a Website. A secured, user-friendly Website administration panel was also required.

The Solution
Olive's software developers created the desired solution with a planned and systematic approach and met the vast requirements specified by the company. The Website: Each page has a navigation column for easy flow to all the features. The Website has an in-built, customised search engine that allows a user to search for a specific person, publication or news. Dedicated separate search engines for the events and the publications sections ensure easy browsing for user.

A separate mailing list section allows a user to register with the group and subscribe for the mailing lists available.

The News section ensures that the latest in FMG is featured round the clock.

The Admin Control Panel: The completely dynamic Website is fully controlled through this panel.

Olive has integrated content and database management systems.

Any section can have links to PDF or other files. A special "Upload Files" section ensures smooth functionality.

Admin can provide make the PDF files secure so that none but a genuine subscriber can have access to it.
